59 carers of 65 children with disabilities have been organised into four groups i.e. VISUAL/Eye Care Support Group, HEARING/Twekembe, LEARNING/Tubewalala, MULTIPLE/Tusokakwavula.

The groups met monthly and trained in self directed care which prompted carers to agree and run a piggery and goats projects with support from Kabukye Trust and commitment from carers themselves willingly contributing UGX 5000 per month towards feeding and treatment of animals.
